From 23 to 25 May we will be at CWIEME in Berlin, the international fair that brings together over 2,000 professionals in the electromechanical sector. Save the date: from 18 to 22 February 2023, New Delhi will host ELECRAMA, the flagship showcase for India's electrical and allied electronics industry and energy sector ecosystem. As of this year, at the customer's request, in the case of structural component products, LTC Group is able to produce steelwork to EN 1090 requirements. This internationally recognised certification establishes the basic standards that a company must comply with for the production of steel components and structural elements.
The site is fully operational. Work has officially started on our new Dubai 2 Plant. With this new premises covering 30,000 m2, LTC Group doubles its production capacity in the Middle East. Highly automated agile production processes, new machinery that saves resources with a view to sustainability, and an increasingly international outlook: the new Dubai plant is all set to become a spearhead of Italian manufacturing excellence.
The new sports season has begun. On 20 September, the Sangiorgese Basket team was presented at Casa LTC. Once again this year we are proud to support the team with our regular sponsorship, and we can’t wait to cheer for every win. Come on Draghi!
LTC Group, with the collaboration with Keller & Kalmbach, has introduced a highly automated production process that concretely exemplifies the LEAN philosophy. With LEAN DAY, which will be held on 12 October at Casa LTC, we would like to open a discussion on lean approaches in industry, meeting with other companies that have optimized their supply of C-parts. Coiltech Italia has now become an unmissable date for leading global Magnetic Core manufacturers, like LTC Group. But this year, for the first time, Coiltech will be twice the size, and it will be staged in Germany. Precisely at Ulm, where Coiltech Deutschland will be held on 6 and 7 April. A date we definitely can’t afford to miss! And in fact we’ll be there in Pavilion 6 stand B23-C22, ready to tell you about all the new products and services on the way. 21 March: the start of spring for everyone. But for a growing number of people who, like us, feel drawn to sustainability issues, it is also the International Day of Forests. Approximately 1.6 billion people depend on the world’s forests for food, shelter and wellness. Forests bring invaluable benefits to us and to the planet. And yet, 12 million hectares of forests are destroyed every year, with an increase in CO2, the greenhouse effect and global warming. Here at LTC Group, we are trying to do our bit by making a practical effort to help: along with Latidama Real Estate S.p.A., we have planted more than 2,500 m2 of land in San Giorgio su Legnano. Creating another green area, to improve everyone’s life.

Optimism is a moral obligation at the start of a new year. Because a new year is also a new beginning and it brings with it the desire to improve, to grow together with the people around us. We have always been of this mind at LTC Group, and believe it even more strongly in 2022 when we will in fact be celebrating the 30th anniversary of our company and the 65th anniversary of business by the Bertelli family, with so many dreams still in our heads. But we prefer to call them projects, because we have concreteness in our DNA. Our thanks to all the people who have worked and continued to work with us. They are the source of our #energyatwork.
The Campaccio, part of the new World Athletics Cross Country Tour Gold circuit, is one of the most important events of its kind in Italy. Every year sees participation by internationally famous names and we at LTC Group will once again be the official event sponsor. The races will be held on 5 and 6 January 2022, to coincide with celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Sangiorgese sports association and broadcast live on RaiSport. APQP4Wind (Advanced Product Quality Planning for Wind Industries) is a global leading non-profit organisation founded by wind turbine manufacturers and suppliers with the aim of monitoring and improving quality in order to continue to bring down energy costs within the wind industry. LTC Group is proud to be an official member of the association. After receiving prototype approval for two designs developed with major players in the market in 2020, it has gone on to produce sample cores using the same approval methodology. This is a huge result for the company as it continues to grow and head in an increasingly more sustainable direction.

A new agreement for new business opportunities: thanks to the contract signed with @Jafza, the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority of Dubai, LTC Group is ready to expand its spaces. Dubai 2 will be built on a plot covering over 27,000 m²: the Bertelli family is moving ahead with a project that confirms the Group’s continuous growth, and which reaffirms its propensity for investment and its increasingly international outlook.
For LTC they represent an informed choice, which should be implemented through increasingly green investment. We share this vision with Intesa Sanpaolo, who has provided us with 10 million euros in funding for our Italian production facilities and 5 million dollars for our Dubai site. These resources mean we will be able to purchase new 4.0 machinery so we can significantly save energy and optimise our processes. We’re very proud of our agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo as we believe it can motivate all those other companies that, like us, believe if we take care of the planet today we can build the business of tomorrow. Which means that together we can start to plan a new future. We would also like to thank Intesa Sanpaolo’s regional director Teresio Testa, and all the team at Intesa Sanpaolo’s Novara Imprese branch, for working with us on this project.
The second tier of the European eco-design regulations is coming soon and we're ready. As the market leader, at LTC Group, we are fully equipped and prepared to provide our partners the fully assembled and pre-stacked cores according to the new European standards. A low loss laser grades are used to guarantee the value of the new regulations. In order to meet sophisticated market requirements, across the LTC Group, we ensure that our facilities are prepared with the most advanced equipment and machinery, as well as quality control instruments to manufacture high quality magnetic cores for our partners.
The Berlin Wall kept apart families and friends, who were only able to hug each other again when they managed to tear it down. Today, it is a terrible virus that is forcing us to keep our distance, but we are sure that soon - strong, united and resilient as we are - we will overcome this as well. LTC Group is proud to be able to exhibit a piece of world history at its new headquarters “CASA LTC GROUP”: some original portions of the Wall, which in their role as works of art can act as a warning not to forget. The pieces, scattered all over the world, are a commemorative monument, but also a symbol of the desire to get back to believing in the future. We truly think that the union between peoples and the breaking down of barriers are the foundation for building something new. For us at LTC Group, this Wall also means wanting to show great foresight and to open ourselves up to increasingly international challenges. Because the future awaits us.
LTC Group, world leader in the production of Magnetic Cores, believes in social activities and has supported the local community by promoting the Campaccio meeting since its first edition, in 1957. The Campaccio meeting is one of the most important events of its kind in Italy, included in the international World Athletics Cross Country Permit circuit, in which internationally-renowned athletes participate. “The Campaccio meeting is an opportunity to reiterate that it is important to cultivate sport for the good of young people”: explains the President of the U.S. Sangiorgese sporting association, Claudio Pastori. And in line with his way of thinking, as always, LTC Group has once again chosen to be the main sponsor of the Campaccio meeting in 2021, to be held on 20 and 21 March. LTC Group and Campaccio, a combination helping Italy grow in the world.
In certain periods, like the one we are experiencing at the moment, imagining the future means improving the present. In line with its LTC Way philosophy, LTC Group continues to invest: to optimise processes and make them even greener and more sustainable, to increase production capacity and always aim for excellence. With one goal: to consolidate the LEAN model and grow as Industry 4.0.
For us at LTC, being part of a community also means supporting it. Economically and beyond. Through support for sport, for example, which becomes an important driver for the local area: we are the main sponsor of Sangiorgese Basket for over 10 years, which plays in Serie B, and we are always a sponsor of the Campaccio meeting, one of the most important events of its kind in Italy, included in the international World Athletics Cross Country Permit circuit, in which internationally-renowned athletes participate. But if sport represents wellbeing, our thoughts also go to health: during the first wave of COVID-19, we tried to offer practical help to the Legnano hospital. Small initiatives with a big impact that we believe in, and that we will continue to implement with the same pride as always.
On Date 14-15-16 December DNV-GL carried out the periodical and Scope Extension Audit of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 at LTC Group-Dubai. Our Environmental, Health and Safety certifications have been confirmed and the certificate updated as: "Electrical Steel Processing, slit coils and lamination. Manufacture of magnetic cores. Production of clamps and carpentry for the assembly of magnetic cores through cutting, bending, mechanical processing, sandblasting and painting processes". We would like to thanks all the employees and involved personnel for the successful result despite the difficult times occurred this year.
On 23rd and 24th November the certifying body DNV-GL conducted a surveillance audit to assess the quality management system of the LTC Group and found that the company has “a really solid and integrated management system (consistent, in a word), with eager, dynamic resources who are highly skilled and competent”. We were well aware of that, but we can’t help but be happy when we hear someone from outside say it too. Those who work here recognise their role and are proud to be a part of the group. For that reason, we’d like to thank everyone for what they’ve done: the sales team and those who plan the orders to make sure deliveries go out on time; the technical department and the operators who try out and launch the final product; our assembly line workers who work with a keen eye to spot any problems; as well as our admin and HR teams and the QA and IT departments. Huge thanks to absolutely everybody for what we do on a daily basis and for how we do it, even when faced with tough challenges like those we’ve had to deal with this year. After all, it’s only with everyone’s talent and a real sense of teamwork that we can continue to grow.
Unfortunately we once again find ourselves forced to tackle a complex health situation. With support from the public, the government is choosing to act responsibly since health comes above all else. We will be continuing to do business in November and will of course be following all current government regulations and guidance. LTC will be taking orders and making deliveries as usual and we’re always on the look-out for new talent. Even in difficult times like these, we’re here to listen to what our customers need and deliver our usual #energyatwork.

It will be a special edition because now, after these long, complicated months, our desire to meet you is even stronger than ever. In person, without shaking hands, but wearing a huge smile behind our mask. What will this summer be like? Hot or humid? Easy or challenging? Whatever the case, it will certainly be unusual. We at LTC Group have chosen to keep our offices and our manufacturing facilities open throughout August as well in order to stay even more on top of our clients' needs. And also because, as a proudly Italian company, we want to participate in our country's recovery.
An extremely tall, white tower stretching up to the sky. Above it, a blade, rotating continuously. More and more often, looking out the window as we travel, our gaze falls upon wind turbines scattered across the landscape. These are precious producers of sustainable energy, and in the coming years, thanks to offshore wind power, wind and sea may more frequently be able to satisfy the electricity needs of the entire world. This according to IEA, the International Energy Agency, and we at LTC Group are thrilled to be a part of this revolution with our magnetic cores, the hearts of the transformers. Constructed with high performance electrical steel which ensures a minimal loss of energy to the transformers, LTC magnetic cores are protected by an armour treated with hot-dip galvanisation or glazing, to make them highly resistant to the atmospheric conditions of the open sea.
We’ve all been playing a waiting game. A game in which time has stood still, been suspended, a game in which many have had to grind to a halt, to protect the community of which we are all part. But now, in LTC we have started again, in maximum safety, always putting our people first. And we want to take up with optimism the challenges that await us, as we try to transform them into the driving force behind change. Because it’s true that the world will never be the same again. But it could actually be better than before. Because our usual ways of working will find new paths to follow. Because the clear sky will come back after the storm and it’s time to welcome the future with even more energy than before, our #EnergyAtWork.
In a scenario like the one we are experiencing, what does acting responsibly mean? It means choosing to be a community. Starting with our behaviour: that’s why the Bertelli family and LTC Group have decided to offer tangible support to the Italian hospital system, donating €100,000 to the Abbiategrasso - Cuggiono - Legnano - Magenta Hospital Foundation in support of the #Coronavirus emergency. It’s our way of demonstrating the deep bond we have with our local area, and with the people who carry on our work (using #smartworking as far as possible!) every day. Because it is in times like these, when we are called upon to make a collective sacrifice for the good of everyone, that we must give our all, together. Respecting the indications from the government, to put the protection of the people who work with us and their families first. Because if we believe we can #YesWeWork!
